Storybook time with a simple craft associated with the story and or character of the book. Parents/Guardians are welcomed to stay.

Wednesdays, 4pm – 5:15pm – ArtSmart – 1st – 4th grades – 6 weeks - $115

Incorporating lessons and crafts in ancient to modern artworks and the artists that created them. Involves craft projects that pertain to the subject lesson.

Camp Description

Explore a variety of materials and ideas in our Arts & Crafts Multimedia camp.

Monday – Friday, 9am – noon, ages 8 – 12 – 1 week - $160

Other Info

Students need to bring a non perishable snack and drink, or can purchase one at the camp. We also advise bringing a bottle of water, especially on hot day. Weather permitting, we may take children outside for breaks or outdoor projects.

Spring Card Making Workshop with Michelle of Fixin’ It Up Cards, Thursday, April 11, 7:00pm - 8:30pm, $20 

Spring is in the air and with it comes many card giving holidays! Create a handmade card to give to that special graduate, mom, dad, or friend! The best thing about making your own card is you can change the sayings and designs to meet your needs! Class participants will make and take four handmade greeting cards and envelopes.  Participants will use a variety of mediums including 3-D paper crafting, stamps, and dry embossing techniques. All supplies will be provided and card examples and directions will be available.  The class will be go-at-your-own pace as participants may come with varying levels of crafting abilities. No experience or supplies required!

Drop-In Craft with Erika:  Make your own Recycled Snack-Wrapper Wallet, on  Saturday, April 13th drop in from 12 – 3pm - $5

Recycled chip bags or snack wrappers into two-pocket wallets big enough to hold gift cards, business cards, notes, small photos, or cold hard cash. Drop in anytime between 12-3 PM, we have everything you need to walk away with your very own one-of-a-kind recycled wallet. No reservation or sign-up necessary. This craft requires no prerequisite skills, and will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete.

HEIRLOOM 2.0 – CANNING FOR NEWBIES with Scrumptious Pantry on Thursday, April 18th 6:30 – 7:30pm - $20. The class will be taught by Lee, the owner of The Scrumptious Pantry, and will discuss what to look for in produce, the basic steps in the canning/pickling process, how to ensure food safety, plus some of Lee’s favorite heirloom recipes. This intro is not a hands-on canning class, but a lecture with a step-by-step demonstration.

Make it and Take it Jewelry Class with Laurie of Intermezzo Jewelry, April 20, 12 - 3 (drop-in anytime)

Love jewelry? Love silver? Would love to make a piece of silver jewelry of your very own? If the answer to all three is “YES”, then stop on by to create your very own sterling silver necklace! Everything you will need will be provided to you, including a selection of gemstone beads, freshwater pearls, sterling silver chain, as well as tools with which to complete your necklace. Your necklace will be a combination of strung beads and sterling chain.

No reservation is necessary, but RSVPs are appreciated.  Children 6 and over with adult supervision are welcome to participate. $35/adult necklace, $30/child necklace.
